Weight savings
With the removal of this material from the design we reduce the weight of the enclosure by almost half from 12.078 lbs to 7.8763125 lbs
Saw that we could utilize a penetrator with a larger inner diameter if concerned about the cables not fitting within the penetrator
Current penetrator modeled in is for a 4.5 mm diameter I'D. We can utilize a 8mm I'D penetrator if we are concerned for space
Cable clearance with the penetrator with a 8mm ID
Alternate placement of the DVL placement to save on the wire lengths for for connecting up to the dvl
Talked about the combining the battery clamps to fit the clamps in between the thrusters but not need to make the frame wider for the thrusters to integrate well. However the battery tubes will will be below the thrusters.
Check design against the design guide. Holes for mounting of the enclosure plate are 0.109 in diameter and 0.5 inch depth.
Threaded portion is 0.25 inches which is slightly larger than the guideline of length < 2*1.09 guideline.
